Prenatal & Postnatal Yoga
After a few years of offering yoga for pregnancy and some mommy & baby classes, in 2011 I became a mama myself! This transformation shaped me like nothing else, and I began to see how much I needed to work with expecting mamas and new mamas through yoga and mindfulness practices.
Now I'm a mama to two sweet little boys and I teach Prenatal yoga out of my Somerville, MA home yoga room, and at occasional workshops in studios.
I teach these semi-private classes and I host Yoga for Mamas postpartum sessions, which include yoga, tea, treats, and discussion for moms to come together without their kids to revive their self-love and connect.

If you're interested, please message me at firstname.lastname@example.org to get on the prenatal list so I can keep you in the loop. Sessions are limited to 2-6 women each time and are $20 each.
*Yoga for Mamas-Postpartum Sessions: for moms at any stage post-baby to come (without the baby) for an hour of yoga (focusing on postpartum issues and calming the nervous system), and then an hour of conversation with tea/coffee and treats. $40.
Prenatal Yoga Workshop: a guide through all 4 trimesters
This 3 hour workshop is an offering to share tips on yoga postures, and on mind-body exploration to aid the pregnant body and spirit during all 3 trimesters, plus the early postnatal (4th trimester) phase.
We will practice in short sequences for each phase of pregnancy, plus take time to discuss the many topics that arise through each phase of this transformational time in a woman's body and life. We will also go over some yogic techniques (such as breathing) that provide support during the actual birthing moments, and discuss common body and emotional changes that can occur in the postpartum period.
*Meant for currently pregnant women with all levels of yoga experience, for women planning/hoping to be pregnant, for partners wanting to learn more, for newly postpartum women, and for teachers looking to gain basic knowledge on prenatal yoga.
