Family-Friendly Yin Yang Yoga at Remnant Brewing-9/9
Join me for a one hour all levels, outdoor Yin-Yang Hatha Yoga practice from 10:00-11:00am on Sunday, September 9th at the new Remnant Brewing in Bow Market (Union Square, Somerville)!
I’m thrilled to get the chance to share a basic and fun practice on the patio in this great new local space.
This also falls on the Virgo New Moon! So we will take it extra slow, intentional, and low-to-the-ground. The weather will be cooler and cloudy, so bring layers and get ready for late Summer to early Fall feels.
Open to families to bring their kiddos as well. :) Bring books or things for them to look at just in case.
Class is $10.
We recommend that you register ahead of time here:
I will be sharing practices from my book, Lunar Love Flow throughout the day, including a morning all levels Hatha flow practice, then a late afternoon Yin (Unwind) practice.
We will honor the current moment in the autumn season and lunar cycle (which will be waning moon energy just days from Samhain/Halloween). This means we will do a letting go-releasing ritual + breath work to honor this halfway point into Autumn.
--Lunch will be provided and there will be some free time for a walk outside in the 23 acres of forest, or for writing/journaling or resting.
This will be a respite for a day. Time away from obligations and daily routine to re-charge and get inspired with your intuitive Lunar energy.
A copy of Jenn’s book is included in addition to the Food for the day.
Join me June 16-22nd, 2019 on the island of Sicily in Italy for Submerging the Senses Retreat!
Located at the renowned Anna Tasca Lanza Cooking School, we will practice yoga once a day, while also spending time learning about the local ways and how to cook, Sicilian style.
This will be a laid back, flow in the moment embrace of shifting perspectives and getting out of our own way. We will take in true Sicily and enjoy the pleasure knowing where our food is coming from, while also learning how to craft it. We will connect to our bodies through the mindful movements of yoga, which will help us better appreciate the food. And we will take in the culture with some excursions/adventures.
Plus it will be the week of Summer Solstice, so we will honor the true shift into the Summer season and where we are currently in the lunar cycle.
